Widest Point Measurement
Measure the widest part of the stump at ground level. Number of stumps and diameter are key for an accurate quote.
Access & Safety Site Info
Inform us of narrow gates or passages and the location of underground services if known. We follow NJUG specification guidance.
Photo & Submission
Please include photos of the stump area if possible. Note that soil mulch is backfilled into the pit, no arisings are removed from site unless otherwise requested.

When making your enquiry to Stump Solutions Ltd please include your contact details, address, quantity of stumps and width measured across the widest point at ground level. If possible please include a few photos of the area and stumps. A brief description of access and where needed a width measurement of any narrow gates or passage ways. Stump Solutions Ltd will then produce a quote for you.
A date and time can then be made to carry out the work. Prior to grinding the stumps a risk assessment (DRA) will be carried out and at this point the client should inform Stump Solutions Ltd of the location of any underground services if known. Stump solutions Ltd follow NJUG guidelines on underground service installations and will not be held liable for any utility apparatus-underground services that have not been installed correctly.
Upon completion of the grinding the soil mulch will be backfilled into the pit. No arisings are removed from the site unless otherwise agreed. The soil mulch can be used as a soil conditioner or composted and used around your garden border.
